Introducing our new design director, Carina Lima!
Swiss Bureau Interior Design & Build is proud to announce the promotion of Carina Lima to Design Director as Zoe Victoria Allen, the firm’s current Design Director begins a new adventure in Melbourne.
Lima will take on the new role as Design Director with enthusiasm and excitement. Joining Swiss Bureau as a Senior Interior Designer, Carina has grown into a leadership role, working directly with Zoe on coordinating design activities. In a little under a year, she has quickly become an integral part of the firm, partnering with Swiss Bureau’s growing list of clients and team on creating incredible designs while delivering projects with grace such as Maison Santé Wellness Clinic, an innovative government media office in Sharjah, an elevated and charming office space for a private luxury jeweler, a sophisticated workspace for Kobre & Kim, a 15,000 Sqft office for Galadari Brothers, a dazzling concept for ANB Holding and Negma Offices, and ATTIKO, a super exciting new restaurant set to open its doors later this year.
Not only a wickedly talented designer with impeccable fashion sense, she is also strategically business minded. With over 15 years of experience and background working for some of the leading studios in South America, Carina will be given the responsibility of leading the drive towards a company founded on effective communication, technology, and a first-class service offering. Her time here with Swiss Bureau has seen her provide great support in department oversight, team development, and leadership. Skilled in client management, resource planning, and management, plus coordination of cross-departmental deliverables across multiple projects, she is an innate leader. A designer with a distinct creative flair, her design approach is one that places human-centered solutions at the forefront, as she couples astute knowledge with attention to detail to bring carefully planned designs that positively impact the world and the people who occupy it.
