Swiss Bureau is excited to be a part of the annual Surge for Water Design Challenge this year! Designing for a better future, Swiss Bureau Hospitality team partners up with Surface Eleven to create a unique design solution that speaks to the heart of the current global situation.

The Arish Pod is an idea born from the need to rekindle one’s relationship with the natural environment. Made from dried palm leaves, the pod is not only sustainable but also celebrates the heritage of the UAE and revives a forgotten craft that has historically provided shelter across the region.

This annual Design Challenge is a unique event born out of a synergy between the driven team at Surge and the A+D community’s commitment to sustainable design.
