Swiss Bureau Senior Interior Designer, Carina Lima, shares her thoughts on what designers hope to see in 2022

With wellbeing as a top-of-mind key topic at the Swiss Bureau office this year, internally and for our clients, our Senior Interior Designer, Carina Lima, had the opportunity to share her thoughts in the latest issue of Design Middle East Magazine. The latest cover story features Carina alongside a brilliant list of designers, touching on what they hope to see more of during the year 2022.

Emphasizing the importance of wellbeing as a top priority for all firms to consider, Carina also includes offering good quality of air, access to healthy eats, breakout areas, and outdoor spaces as examples of what she hopes to see implemented throughout the year. She encourages employers and designers to offer unique spaces and scenarios when designing the space to attract people in again. A happy work-life balance and flexible days could also be instrumental in the upcoming year.

Swiss Bureau Senior Interior Designer, Carina Lima is quoted in Design Middle East Magazine, Feb 2022. What do designers hope to see in 2022?

With the world altered at great speed due to the Pandemic, designing spaces continues to evolve drastically, prompting Carina to note that offices are not the only places considered for work anymore.

“Coffee shops and restaurants have now [also] become a place of work. [We now give] these projects further attention to the quality of lighting, ergonomic furniture, much better acoustic solutions, and much more!”
